Picture of Westmont Theatre Organ

Benjamin Lenoir was a famous organ manufacturer and curator from the early 20th century. During his professional career Lenoir “hand-built” only a limited number of his famous pipe organs for theatres.

Its widely known that the Westmont Theatre housed a Benjamin Lenoir organ valued at $25,000 (in the 1926 economy), but sadly no known photographs of the Westmont Theatre organ have surfaced…until now!!!

Brantly Duddy, a 90-year old organ curator and one-time apprentice of Lenoir’s, has detailed information about Lenoir’s work, and, more importantly, information about the Westmont Lenior organ.
